BACKGROUND STORY
While researching inspiring subjects, I came across a black and white photograph. It was taken at an airshow in the early 20th century. A man is leaping at full force into a wooden wall. Several men are watching. He was there to showcase a helmet he had developed. I found the photo shocking. Even today, people do perverse things to gain attention, fame, and money. They eat disgusting things, film themselves doing it, injure themselves, or otherwise make fools of themselves. All this to get lots of clicks or an appearance on a reality show.

It's astonishing what people are willing to do to market themselves.
